Its a bit warm as of late

This squirrel is not dead, he just can't take the heat. The little guy retreated from the brutal sun on to our patio at the agency. A few sips of water and a back rub later, he was back on his feet.

LAST CALL

The Team Martin 48 Hour Film Project entry.

when crickets attack

7.31.2007

It's a wrap!

We did it... literally running out the door with the tape with minutes left. We finished a pretty incredible film in 48 hours. Team Martin's genre was Detective/Cop film. The requirements were - prop: pencil, line of dialogue: "I was thinking the same thing", character: Claudia/Claude Foust, Historian, and to incorporate a landmark of the city. All teams have this to work with. So after a sleepless weekend of beer, pizza, concepting, writing, shooting, editing, laughing, crying and bleeding (yes, bleeding)... the finished product can be seen at the Byrd Theater this weekend.

Stay tuned... the film will be posted soon.

The best part of the show is when he told everybody in the bar that PBR was not cool anymore. That'll teach ya, Richmond!

Ouch...

I can't believe how one guy was able to get up and keep running after a crash like that.

I shot this stuff the other day in NYC. With the FLIP, I'm finding in most outdoor light you get a hazy blown out quality, which allows for some nice happy accidents. Excuse the choppy transitions - this movie was compressed down a bit.
